Congratulations! I hope you love your flex-clip as much as I love mine! FYI…I ordered a bunch more
Not long ago, Lizzie contacted me about doing a giveaway for her Lilla Rose business. First off, I’m all about small business {smiley face}. Second, I was very intrigued about her products. Lilla Rose is all hair cute hair goodies. We (at least the girls in this house) were blessed with lots of hair. Mine is very fine, but baby girl’s hair is thick. thick. thick. I’m always looking for a good way to keep hers (and mine) under control. and pulled off our faces!
Lizzie sent me a flexi-clip. It’s a clip, but it’s flexible. It’s two parts, but connected. It’s genius, really.
I got my flexi-clip in the mail. Baby girl and I both tried it out. multiple times. love.
Love it so much, in fact, that I’m ordering more. More for us and then a few for gifts for the holidays. I mean what tween-teen-woman doesn’t want cute hair clippies?
Just to try it out again and totally make sure, I wore it all day today as a ponytail holder of sorts. It never budged. I really do like it.
When you look at the site, find the awesome videos they have…one to explain what size you should order and other videos teaching you different kinds of hairstyles you can create with the flexi-clips. FYI…I’m a small. I have think, wavy hair. I have the simple band in small in my hair {see photo}.
The best part of all of this? YOU COULD WIN ONE! Lizzie’s giving me the opportunity to offer one of the flexi-clips to you! {one flexi-clip of your choice (up to $16)}
Ok…same sob story as yesterday. Oldest still home, but I think it’s over. whew. Now on to the winner of the printable calendar…
That is Stephanie!
She left the comment…”Huge (new) fan! Love all the creative things I’ve stumbled across on your site. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to win some the creativity
”

Well I did it. I’ve been talking about for a while now. I opened an etsy shop. I have my first item up now
It’s a kit designed to make your holiday cards fun and easy this year. You’ll need photo editing software and a little bit of experience with it. Or, if you prefer, I can totally help you out with the whole thing. Your photo goes in the template and you digitally ‘stache the photo! Basically when its all said and done, you have a picture file you can send to any photo lab. I made the template in the two most common sizes for holiday cards, 4×8 and 5×7. I even added some extras, including a paper you can print for use as a family letter to include with your cards.
I want to give a set away! Simply leave a comment on this blog post by midnight eastern time on Wednesday, November 9th. I randomly choose a winner Thursday morning. The giveaway will be for a set of DIY templates, plus if you need help inserting a photo and mustaches, I’ll do that too!
good luck!
Sorry for the delay, ladies…I woke up to a sick little one this morning. But all is well now, cartoons are on, and I’m back at the computer to announce the winner!
That’s Suzanne who wrote…
“Loving the look of your goodies in store so far. I’d love the chance to play with the purse onality template – my DD’s birthday is coming up and they would be great for the goodie bags. I have a Craft Robo and need to refresh using DXF files (as opposed to GSD or the Silhouette Studio files) so this would be an ideal way to play.”
You get to play with the purse toppers, Suzanne! I’ve already emailed you.
**Contest is now closed** Winner will be announced today
I have always been a computer girl. I would much rather have a computer to create, print, cut something than to do it myself. Maybe it’s because I like everything to be nice and matchy matchy, nice and neat, etc. So when the digital die cut machines came out…genius. But some of the best parts of these digital die cut machines have been their accessories. Patterned vinyl sheets, iron on transfer paper, and more. Silhouette has even come out with magnet papers and temporary tattoo papers. And anyone who knows a child under the age of 10 will whole heartedly appreciate the value of temporary tattoos!
That is why I am so excited to team up with Silhouette for a really cool giveaway! Ok, here’s what we’re giving away…Silhouette will send one of my awesome readers a prize pack worth $50 for FREE! It includes 2 Heat Transfer Rolls in Yellow and White Smooth, a Tattoo Pack and a pack of Magnet Sheets. The absolute best part of this giveaway is that you DO NOT need any special machine. All of the products can be used with good ol’ scissors! I LOVE that!
I’ve been playing around with some really cool Silhouette products. I can’t wait to show you some of the things I’ve made. I’ll give you some peeks at the things we’ve been making over the next several days. In the meantime, leave a comment here for a chance to win a big prize pack worth $50 from Silhouette. You’ll get an additional entry for Facebooking and Tweeting about my giveaway. Just come back here and leave a separate comment that you Facebooked or Tweeted. Leave your comments before midnight EST on Tuesday, November 9th. The winner will be announced Wednesday, November 10th.
But that’s not all. They are also offering a special coupon code just for Domesticated Lady readers. The code LADY will get you a cool 25% off on all their accessories now through November 13th at midnight.
You can visit the Silhouette shop and the blog for lots more info and cool ideas. The blog offers lots of tutorials, tips, and tricks for using the Silhouette machine. By the way, the Silhouette is now MAC compatible! (Which is why I just bought myself one!)
**Just a note…Silhouette products can only be sent to a winner living in the states and a winner may only win once, even if it’s from a different host.
Good luck!

Pin It Remember these? I’m guessing you probably do. It’s been, by far, my most popular post. Thanks again to Jeni for suggesting it. I recently had a comment on that post from Jen, suggesting a Valentine themed s’mores printable. I thought it was a great idea. I tweaked the design a little…and just happened to [...]
