I have been wanting to make one of these soup can treats for a long time. I didn’t have one of those safety can openers. Then Leigh did a post about a cute can she made for her son’s teacher. That did it. I actually found a cheap safety can opener at TJMaxx! You just open the can from the bottom, leaving the pop top intact. I washed the can and let it dry. Then I filled the can with candy and shredded paper. I glued the bottom back on with E6000 glue I use for my pendants. I made a label for around the can and one for the top, too. I added the labels and then tied the whole can with ribbon. I made mine for Easter, but this is a great little craft for any occasion. You can download your free labels here.
