S’more Teacher Appreciation Idea and FREE printable!

My friend Jeni called the other day for a little help.  She had a great idea for a teacher appreciation idea and wanted me to help design a topper for her treat.  She filled a 4×9 inch clear cello bag with two graham squares, a marshmallow, and a mini chocolate bar.  I made the topper with her clever little saying on the front and easy directions for making an individual smore in the microwave.  Too cute!  So cute, in fact, that I have to share!  Get your pdf file (with directions) HERE.  The picture below is also linked.

    Melissa,

Any chance you can do this PDF for employees instead of teachers? We need s’more employees like you! This would make the cutest little encouragement gift to leave on our employee’s desks during this winter. =)

  11. This gift is teacher approved!!!

I’m excited to see the plethora of ideas, but this one is my favorite. My mentee is a guy and sometimes teacher appreciaton gifts are a little to girlie for any guy’s taste. However, he has a sweet tooth and he’s an English teacher, so he’ll love the play on words!

I am a teacher and I approve this gift!
    Thanks!!!

  12. Just dropped a few of these at the school and they were a huge hit! They turned out so cute and it was so easy to put together quickly.

What fonts did you use for the lettering?

  13. What kind of paper do you print these out on? Standard weighted paper? Card stock?

  14. I use a bright white cardstock. And when I really want to go all out, I use Epson Premium Presentation Paper. You can find both at Target…cardstock in the paper, office stuff and the presentation paper in the electronic section.

Thanks for the great idea! I had to copy & paste the image so I could fit 2 on a page and eliminate the waste, especially w/the cardstock. They look awesome! The kids had a great time learning about the “assembly line” production process and the teachers are going to love them tomorrow.

Thanks for all your brilliant (and inexpensive) creative ideas!

  27. What a sweet idea! I love it

  28. Thank you so much for posting these. I love them so. I would love to use them for an outdoor BBQ this summer. Just need to change the word “teacher” to “friend” :)

  29. I loved this so much I made it the same day I found the post. I’ve blogged about it at my site and made the teensiest adjustment by fitting 4 labels per Word doc., which greatly reduces paper waste. Thanks so much for sharing. Keep up the great ideas!

Thanks for this lovely idea. Made 95 of these for “Staff appreciation week” at my daughter’s school. Would love to send a picture to you but not sure how. I used cute note pad paper which had a school supplies theme and wrote it by hand. They look lovely and can’t wait to see their reaction.

These were a Huge hit with my daughters, I made them for my grandkids. Would love to make these for the Nurses I work with, Do you have one that says nurses instead of teachers? I work in a nursing home and these would go over so big right now with our nurses. Thanks Berta

  38. Sandy Yoder says:

Hi, I LOVED THIS IDEA! I am a special educator and gave it to all the teachers who included my students in their classes. But I also wanted to give it to my boss and secretary, so I put a blank box around teacher and filled in who it was going to! Could you redesign it to be a blank one so we can fill it in for whoever. I would love to give it to student’s parents as well!

  39. Brittany says:

I absolutely LOVE this! I work for Girl Scouts and would love to give this to some of my volunteers. Is there anyway you could make one that said, “We need s’more volunteers like you” ??

  42. These are awesome! Any chance you’ve got the pdf printable download that will print more than one of these on a piece of paper / card stock? Would like to do for all teachers in our school (100) and would like to use less paper, if possible. THANKS!

  43. Totally love this. Next week is teacher appreciation week at my oldest daughter’s school AND nurses week at the hospital. Me and my daughters made some for her teachers, and I’ll be doing two dozen for my co-workers too. Thank you so much for the printable! I don’t think you will see this in time, so I had to make do with uber simple not-as-cute labels for my nurses.

  44. Thanks for such a great idea! The printables made it really easy.
