You’re so brave! I would be afraid to light the whole ribbon on fire. I just use clear nail polish, but it looks like your method is quicker and prodeuces neater results. Maybe I need to get brave.
Clear nail polish is a great idea! It did take a bit of practice to know how fast to slide through the flame I have ruin a few ribbons!

Definitely can use this on my cookie ribbon!
I use a lighter also. I like to use the larger grill lighters though. The small lighters get hot after a while.
